Have More FREE Time

The holidays are just around the corner but rather than look forward you agonize over not having enough time. Make your life more efficient so you can enjoy celebrating. Create free time for yourself by delegating in all aspects of your life and not over committing. It is that simple. If you are a Corporate Executive working 15 hours a day, cut it down to 9 by: a) training your team to take on more responsibility and b) attending less meetings. Review your projects and calendar weekly to determine what needs to get done and how. Only focus on those tasks and meetings that need YOUR attention, delegate the rest. Ensure that the meetings you do attend are action oriented and efficient. And/Or a Parent? Well, training your family and only attending select functions can work at home too. Cleaning, cooking, laundry, and errands can be shared by the entire family. Holiday shopping is most easily done online or by phone (if you are at a loss there is always the Gift of Health:) ). Only attend events and parties that are critical and cool. Not sure how to get started? Check out Marianne's Be Organized/Be Efficient programs at www.bnbscoach.com/IndividualAndGroup.

Recipe of the Month: Prep Once, Eat Multiple Times

Halloween is a time for sweet treats. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, M&Ms, Twizzlers, and Blow Pops surround you at home and at the office. Avoid these processed, packaged foods by having healthier sweet treats available. Try Peanut Oatmeal Bars and satisfy your sweet tooth while getting a good amount of protein and fiber. Oh and oats lower cholesterol.

Step 1:Gather your organic ingredients...1 cup cooked rolled oats; 1 cup crunchy peanut butter (natural); 1 med egg; 1/2 cup sugar; 1/2 cup 70% dark chocolate chips.
Step 2:Preheat oven to 350. Grease 8x8in sq baking pan. Mix all ingredients and spread in pan.
Step 3:Bake 30 minutes. Cool 15 minutes. Cut into squares.
Step 4:Eat this sweet treat any time of the day ... YUM
